"Europe"    

For six years from August 1, 2004 to February 8, 2010 we were stationed at Vilseck and Grafenwoehr Army Posts in Bavaria, Germany. I worked as a computer teacher and Bernadette worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of the U.S. Army. During that time, we traveled throughout Europe visiting 36 different countries. Fortunately for us, we had our own car and made good use of it during this entire time. The map below (given to us by our son Jay) shows where we went in each country. We even visited a town called "MOLLO" in the Catalan region of northeastern Spain, close to the French border! The most fascinating experience was being able to visit all five of our ancestral villages in Italy and Ireland, seeing where our grandparents lived, were baptized and married. We also went to all seven micro states: Vatican, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Malta, Monaco, and San Marino.
