Each of these ancestors coming to America from a different village in Europe, was courageous, daring, and hopeful for a better life. Some were children, some single, some married, and some with their entire families hoping for a new beginning.
None of them ever returned to their homeland. Some of them sacrificed so that their dream of a better life only came about with their children. We are grateful to each and every one of them for their courage and persistence for it is because of them that we are here and that we are Americans.
